[thermometer raised=1500 target=1500 width=150 height=283 align=right]October is breast cancer awareness month and this issue has hit too close to home at our office. Several of our staff members and Dr. Reynolds’ mother-in-law are survivors. For that, we are incredibly grateful. But, we know that not everyone who hears their diagnosis sees it through to a happy ending. A major key to survival is early detection and mammography is part of that process.
Unfortunately, there are many in our community who are unable to pay for these life-saving screenings. We would like to help with that and you can too! For the month of October, Reynolds & Stoner Orthodontics will make a $10 donation to the Mammography Scholarship Fund of Cone Health for each of our patients who comes into the office WEARING PINK or something in support of breast cancer awareness. And, for those of you who let us know that you, too, are a survivor, we will make a $20 donation.
UPDATE: We reached our goal of $1,500! The thermometer on the right will has steadily filled up throughout October and now we’ve made it! Thanks to everyone who participated and helped make a difference!
